What is a research design?
According to Creswell (2014), research designs are the specific procedures involved in the research process. Depending on the type of research an educational researcher wishes to conduct, they follow specific procedures to: (1.) collect data (2.) analyze data (3.) write their findings
The research designs are very different for: (1.) quantitative research; (2.) qualitative research; and (3.) combined quantitative/qualitative research.
